The O.G. New York skate company is back!!!! Found these on 360skate.com, and the other on the Epicly Later'd site out of NYC.
I just got a new book called Art, Skateboarding, and Life! It is great, it chronicles the experiences of east coast pro skateboarder and artist Andy Howell. Andy was an inspiration to all of us skateboarders on the east coast of the United States in the late 80's early 90's. It's a good one!!!!

Awesome! My limited edition John Maeda / Mekanism deck arrived this morning! Very Cool!

Paris based Skateboard company MEKANISM has teamed up with MIT Media Lab guru John Maeda to do a limited edition skate deck graphic.
I wish I had one! Hey MEKANISM, where can I get one?

My students in Degree Unit D something of note for our trip to Paris at the end of November, John Maeda will have an exhibition from November 19th 2005 to February 19th 2006 at the Fondation Cartier in Paris, France.

I just had to post something on The Gonz, artist, poet, skater! This is Mark Gonzales he is a legend in the skateboarding world. For all you Architecture / Design heads, he was involved in the Mood River exhibition events at The Wexner Center for the Arts that was curated by Jeff Kipnis. The Gonz also has his own skateboard company called KROOKED!

Ok, so in the mid 90's Stereo Skateboards was the coolest team going! Cool graphics, Cool riders, Cool videos, just about cool everything! They shut down shop for a while to pursue other creative avenues and now they are back and have an even richer vibe of coolness! Go and check out there site now! OR PERISH!

Shut Skates Is back!
In the late 80's early 90's these guys were East Coast Skatebording!!
They had the sickest team and ruled New York City!

This is the current deck that I am skating right now. It's made by Blueprint Skateboards a UK based company. Nice pop and the graphics are nice and clean.
